One of my favorite things about Disney World is that I can totally eat certain snacks as meals. I am full pretty quickly, so things like popcorn, a funnel cake, some Dole Whip, etc, will hold me over for a few hours or so! If you're like me, then you are in luck. I do this all the time to save some money. No matter what theme park you go to, the food is always expensive. Why? Because it is something that everyone must have. Like you need food to live. You being at a theme park does not change that fact. My favorite food to eat to save money is in Epcot. They have a snack shack on the same side as United Kingdom. There, they sell a chicken nugget and french fry plate. I want to say the plate comes with 8 or 10 nuggets and a bunch of french fries. My husband and I, not realizing what we were getting ourselves into, both got a plate and something to drink. We were going to sit down and eat while we enjoyed the light show. My husband is a really large guy. Like tall and sturdy. He's 6'5 and is the smallest in his family... Should be no problem with food, right? WRONG! We had so much extra food, it was unbelievable. Ever since then, we always split the plate. It's still plenty of food and is half of the cost.

A couple of my favorite snacks, and my husband's but he'll never admit it, are the infamous Dole Whip and the Mickey Ice Cream Sandwich! Read more about them here! Or explore a little and find one of your own you'd like to try!
Over the course of my many trips I've managed to eat several different places! Of all of them, two often come to mind as must-do's for those who would like to be in for a treat! The first is the Whispering Canyons Cafe at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. The views at the resort are beyond fantastic! They scream old fashioned cabin camping in the West. The restaurant is full of wild shenanigans and celebrations, as well as an all you can eat skillet for $24 a person. This is what my husband and I get every single time. Its simply the best! The other restaurant is actually dinner AND a show, literally. Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show is stunning, and the food is UNLIMITED! Traditional Hawaiian dishes are brought to you non-stop till your stomach can't take it anymore! My favorite is the pulled pork. Holy Moly, dear Lord it's spectacular. You can see both of these in the links below!
